a good well rounded college?

What are some good colleges with popular greek life, medium/large college, campus near a city, & a great business school? (Good college as in 85+ average)

University of Virginia

There are so many colleges which fit your criteria that listing them is essentially a fool’s errand. Such schools range from the University of Oklahoma to Emory University to USC. Obviously all of those schools are going to feel very different from one another, as will the opportunities afforded to UGs and academics of various departments. You should start by listing your stats (GPA+ SAT/ACT), how much you can afford, which region(s) of the country you’d consider, and any other pertinent information. Without which, posters will just rattle off their favorite schools, even though they may be terrible fits for you.

Am I correct in thinking your home state is New York?

Yes it is new york. Somewhere in the northeast. Weighted GPA is a 92. Money is not much of an issue but id rather not go above 40k. :-)

Miami University (Ohio)
Penn State
James Madison
UMass - Amherst

These 4 schools make Business Week’s top 50 undergraduate business schools; they are in the Northeast (more or less); they have fraternities; they are under $40K (James Madison, UMass) or a little more (Miami and Penn State).

thanks guys :)

Arizona State, Greek life isn’t that big anymore though.

There are a ton of choices. I suggest you get your hands on a couple of college guide books (ex. Fiske, Princeton Review, Insiders Guide) and start reading. Many large state schools would fit your needs. Some quick ideas off the top of my head: UMiami, Syracuse, SUNYBuffalo (as a cheaper option), UIndiana, Tulane, UMaryland, Pitt, UMass-Amherst…

u of Pittsburgh
vanderbilt

Wil dooooooo :]]
