A. James Clark Engineering School's improved ranking!

I just received this e-mail from UMD’s engineering school:

"Dear Clark School Faculty, Staff, Students, and Friends,

I have excellent news to share with you. In the 2011 rankings of international academic engineering and computer science programs by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the A. James Clark School of Engineering rose two positions, from 13th to 11th, among all institutions, and continued to rank 8th among U.S. public institutions (American schools placed 1-15, including ties for 12th and 15th, with the University of Cambridge, England, among those tied at 15)."

Awesome. Now, I’m not really familiar with the “Shanghai Jiao Tong University” rankings, but I’ll take it :D.

Congrats engies!
