I just want to share my joy that today my S completed his first day of actual work for a real employer. It’s a temp job, but it is a job. Hallelujah!

Hurray and congrats! It’s made my day.

Congratulations! I’m sure that’s exciting for him, too. Someday I hope to share similar news…

I’m so glad that you shared this. Congratulations to both you and your son!!!

Congrats. S1 has a real job and as of last week has taken over the insurance on his truck…hurray!

Great news Consolation!

Here’s to full employment for the entire country . . . .

Congratulations! I hope to report similar news soon.

This is only a summer job, but I was beginning to think that he would NEVER be employed.

I’m so happy to have him experiencing a very different environment, learning the satisfaction of making money through honest labor–and NOT sitting in his bedroom watching tv shows on his laptop or playing computer games!

Congratulations! That’s great news.

Wonderful news. A job is a job even if temporary and is something to add to the resume for the next hunt. PLUS you just never know what connections your son will make at this temp job. Great news!!

From your post to whomever’s listening…I’ve been without work since December 1st…Lucky for me (and D a college junior) I have always lived a frugal (not cheap) lifestyle. But this unemployment thing is getting old. I’m making the best of it!

Great news! Glad to hear some good news for a change.
