A List of Things to Do Before You Die

I hope a thread like this doesn’t exist already. If it does, oh well, this thread will be a short one.

What are some things folks here would like to/have already done/think others should do in their lifetimes?

Some things I have never done, but would like to do is ride an elephant (and, no, not in a zoo or animal park!), drive from one side of the US to the other, skydive, ride a hot air balloon, and see all the 7 natural wonders of the world in person (I’ve only seen one).

Write down your financial information, computer passwords, location of safe deposit box, etc etc.!!! I know two recent widows who are in the dark on their own finances. One husband died suddenly, but one fought a long battle with cancer and really truly should have done this before he passed away. Sorry to hijack, but this has been on my mind lately.

Missypie, I just wrote Will, Trust, Living Will, etc. Even changed house title to be in Trust. It was on my mind for a long time. I still need to figure out a long term health care plan.

If I could have wishes fulfilled, I’d travel. I’ve always wanted to see Vietnam, Japan, China, Austria, Italy,…

Quit a job I hate (this will be getting checked off quite soon)

Find a job I love

Win a campaign for someone

Be the boss, because I know I’d be a heck of a lot better at it than some of the bosses I’ve had.

Get my masters degree

Get an apartment that is covered by less than a week’s pay

Learn to speak arabic

Take it all back.

Wow, impressive lists.

I’d like to attend a live taping of Prairie Home Companion in beautiful downtown St Paul, MN.
That’s about it. Some dreams are bigger than others, I guess. : )
