The main college I am looking to get into right now is Boston University. Right now I have a GPA of about 3.55 and an sat of 1330. I participate in key club along with football and wrestling. Is there anything I can do to better my chances of getting into this school?
You should write compelling essays and have a teacher who knows you well write your letter of recommendation.
Regardless if you’re a senior or junior, bear down and ace this semester’s grades. Retake SAT or maybe ACT as well. If you’re not being recruited for either sport and if either are of only passing interest to you, drop them and focus on the academics – BU and the other schools that are of a realistic range won’t care about your ECs over a better GPA or test score.
Otherwise, realize that your viable target college list may be limited. Best of luck to you
