Some of you may recall this post a few months ago.

It’s long overdue, but I did want to give you an update since so many of you were so helpful.

DD seems to be back to her normal self. There were a couple of small abnormalities in her blood work. Dr. seemed to think nothing of them, but in this age of instant info “Dr. Mom” researched the possible meaning of these. My conclusion was a lack of folic acid and some other B vitamin among a couple of other things. In addition to the BC pills she’s been taking a B complex vitamin. We figured it couldn’t hurt her.

She also is getting a lot more rest than she does during the winter months. I think that’s helped enormously.

I believe her problems were a result of fatigue, some odd hormonal things going on, maybe a lack of vitamins, and a very difficult situation regarding her team and sport.

We’re watching her carefully. We told her therapy was/is an option, but she seems to feel it’s unneccessary right now. I hope we’re not being naive on that front.

Again, thanks for the support you gave me!
