<p>I never thought she was well-suited for the role. In her defense, she had some pretty big shoes to fill with Gates’ departure, but still, she acted more like a high school principle than a university president.</p>
<p>I knew things were pretty bad when I heard about that rule she made requiring everyone to stay for the entire graduation ceremony in order to receive their diploma. I guess she didn’t realize that A&M has 48,000 students and a particular student’s friends and family are not going to want to wait three hours to listen to the names of people they don’t even know.</p>
<p>TexAgs is a joke. Mostly just nerds with inferiority complexes.</p>

<p>48,000 did not attend this year’s graduation. Reed’s max capacity is ~13,000. He was simply saying that’s how many undergrads are at A&M.</p>
