A Maxwell Scholarship Competition for those who are admitted.

There is a scholarship opportunity that went up on the admitted web page recently.

On the competition website:

The competition provides an opportunity for civic-minded high school seniors who have been admitted to SU to win one of 25 partial scholarships. A good citizen is not only someone who obeys the laws and pays taxes but also someone who seeks to leave their community better than they found it by getting involved and working to shape local policies. Participants in the competition are required to submit a memo outlining a policy recommendation and then, if chosen as a finalist, to attend a one-day conference in Syracuse with other finalists.

Traditionally, how many policy papers are submitted for competition, and how many are chosen by Prof. Coplin to attend the April 27th competition to vie for the 25 scholarships?

Bumping this…

Does anyone know what the numbers look like for this? How many applications, how many invited to the finalist’s event?

Just checked the website. The finalist list is posted - 100 finalists.
