A Million Little things, same genre as This is Us. Anyone watching

I watch this show on ABC on Wednesday nights at 10 PM, free, no streaming, whatever. I despised 30 Something when I was a not quite yet 30 something. I just could not relate to those whiny Yuppies. I watched This is Us a couple of times and didn’t enjoy it, either. I only gave A million little a try because I saw that it had James Roday in it and my entire family loved Psych. I am amazed by how good an actor he is in this role. I am hooked. I hate the affair story line and can’t believe that Eddie would cheat on Hawaii Five O girl with that boring Delilah, but it is what it is. I do think the secretary is key to something and I was disappointed in Gary the other night.

I just finished last week’s epi and I’m still curious on what’s up with Ashley.

I am glad that they aren’t dragging out the will she or won’t Maggie start chemo story line.

I wanted to like this show, but to me this is no This Is Us or Thirtysomething. I find almost all the characters unlikable and found it highly bizarre that two of the friends tried to kill themselves at the exact same time.

Agree with Barbalot, that I wanted to like this, it had promise but falls short of a really good show. It seems the writers are throwing so many issues into one show - suicide, cancer, affairs, pregnancy, mental health, infidelity and now the “good guy” may not be so good. The story line with Maggie seemed really unrealistic - her first date was a funeral?? And now she is an integral part of this friend group. Yet I find myself watching for some reaosn.
