A new Android app to help you catch the UM Buses

Hey guys,

My name is Eric and I’m a computer science major at UMD. I just released a new Android app that will help make sure you never miss a bus again while at UMD. My app, called Route Rider, uses the gps devices built into the Shuttle-UM buses to predict bus arrival times for any stop on campus. Route Rider is super fast, super accurate, and super free!

You can download the app at on the Android Market (its coming to iPhone soo, too): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ericrose.routerider

or check out my team’s website for more information: [512 Technology](http://www.512technology.com)

As always, I’m also open to answering any UMD or CS related questions you guys might have.

Thanks,
Eric

I love this app.

Is there going to be an iOS version?

Thanks! An iOS version is in the works right now!

Great. Do you it will be ready by fall semester classes?

That’s the plan!
