haha…so I was thinking, it’d be kinda fun to try on new/different (and hence, new) personalities for a day each or something. I’m usually quiet/mysterious/weird. What new personality should I try on for, say, tomorrow?

How about smile all day and see if anyone notices a difference in you…?
One thing at a time, and it won’t be too drastic/unachievable…

loud/conspicuous/normal

–NOTE: I’m don’t want to permanently change my personality because I don’t like it or something…I just think it’d be fun to do something different because I’m bored.

dadasolee: FIRST: does your sn have anything to do with the literary theory of dadaism? I dunno…oh yeah…I do smile most of the time any ways. When you don’t know what to do…just smile

juzam: hahaha, thanks!

uh…you are strange

Neemi: Thanks for an awesome revelation; I had been completely oblivious to Dadaism, but after doing a quick research, I came to appreciate the deeper meaning of my screenname. “Dada” part of my screenname just sounded right to me at the time I was trying to come up with my first screenname for my first email address (7 years ago.) “solee” is just a mixture of my initials/last name. Dadaism truly represents what I feel deep inside, a desire for “rejection of traditional culture and aesthetics” and a hope “to destroy traditional culture and aesthetics.” Now I can’t wait 'til someone asks for an explanation for my peculiar screenname. Thanks Neemi!

that’s awesome because yesterday after I saw your sn I was trying to figure it out, but I had no clue what it meant. Then, I had to study for my literary theory final and there was a short sentence in one of the chapters that mentioned dadaism and I was like “Wait…OH! that’s like that one sn on college confidential”…haha, synchronisity

What new personality should I try on for, say, tomorrow?

Snape-like.

Yeah, I was gonna try the smile-all-day-thing but English final sucked. At least they’re all over now. Grrr…BUT this weekend is the stanford meeting thing for the bay-area admits!!! So EXCITED!

neemi, can you actually change your personality? I have a few different personalities (not in the dissociative identity disorder kind of way), ranging from extroverted to typical high school student to (pseudo) intellectual to psychotically avoidant, but I can never control which one I have on a given day…

oh yeah, well, kinda. I mean, I’m like you in the multiple personality thing, but don’t you ever just act a certain way just to see how people react? I don’t know if that’s the best way to put it, but…

I think you need a new name every day too. Don’t respond if someone calls you by the wrong name.

lol, try switching during the SCEA reception tmrw :)
