A number of Q's from Dec. 12 ACT

Sorry for how fragmented they are, I don’t remember them all too clearly:

1) Something on the reading section, in the poetry one, asked like “from reading her first books on poetry X gained an understanding of how it could uncover ___”
two of the answers were like “the relationship between continents,” and “the human spirit”

2) Second to last question on the Science Test, no idea what the question was or what the answers were, but I chose (c). Anyone remember what it was?

3) The one on that same section of the Science Test, showing the picture of the two different things and asking which would have the longer inertia. I said the bigger looking one because the distance was greater, or something to that effect.

I’ll add more as I think of them. Thanks!

1) human spirits

2) pretty sure it was c(circular sphere)

3) for this one i’m not sure, but i think i put the larger one

Confirming vault’s response.
3. Object A because average distance was greater.

Wow that’s so reassuring. The first science one was literally a blind guess and the other two were the two questions on the test that I really had no idea on!

**** i said object b…oops!

I think the second to last question was a) Spherical shape(Student W) As the revolution times for it were the least, so it had the greatest inertia.

@Welcome

[Moment of inertia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Moment of inertia - Wikipedia)

As you can see the moment of inertia is only dependent on the relative radius, not the period. Either way, answer was clearly “C” because the hollow shell showed a much higher moment of inertia given the same “L”

Don’t get this question mixed up with the one about highest frequency, in which case, your task was to find the trial with the lowest period.

Ah, ok. Never heard of that before, I assumed it meant which gained the most speed therefore having the highest frequency. There goes my 36.

A couple more:

The spaceship one, was it claustrophobia or did the living so close to people allow them to know everything about each other?

Did the story finish that Prince Genji began the 20th century with new technology, or was the story still interesting.

Would it be a good essay on the evolution of the “novel”? I said no because it only used one book from a certain time period.

Thanks.

living so close to people allows them to know everything about each other

new technology (what i said, anyway)

same, i said no because it was only one book
