A&O session experiences

I suggest that you grab your roommate and maybe a few people you just met to do some activities together. Most people will go to sessions with at least an acquaintance, and this is a great way to do something fun while getting to know each other through small talk. By going to certain sessions, you’ll also meet people who have either the same interests or are open enough to try out something new.

I think I will probably commute from home, probably. Nevertheless, I have some people with whom I shall attend these events.

Hey I’m an international student, and I think the session I registered was the online session…(not very sure how that will be). Does anyone have any experience on that? Please share you experiences, just want a head up about what is coming.~ Thanks in advance!~ 谢谢

For those who’ve attended this before, about how many people are in a group? Does it depend on what date you are attending it?

dabober: The group sizes should always be the same. You should be with maybe 20 other students(?) if not less, with your orientation leaders (2). However, when you go to advising, you’ll be with maybe 70ish other students. When you’re in the computer lab registering for classes, the labs hold about 25-30 students each.

I don’t believe online orientation is an option, is it?

(1) Dawg Days is awesome.

(2) W Day is awesome

(3) We had Caprese Sandwiches, chips and tea. All you can eat. I think the only other option was pork something or other, so I ate the Caprese.

Xavi: Is W day the day where people formed the huge W?

Naw, W Day is UW’s Birthday.

Oh, I see. Haha, I steered clear away from the Red Square that day because of all the people (and long lines for shirts and stuff)… but now I’m having fun shooting candid shots of people during the ASUW events going on in the Red Square!

Oh you better not!! I’m gonna wear a ski mask.

Too late .__. I’m averaging 500 pictures per day for about 2 hours of walking around campus  If I take a picture of someone in a ski mask, I’ll send it to you XD

Nice. Maybe when it gets cold again.

…you’ve lived an awesome & carefree life then.

@speedsolver: OMG, do you have blue framed glasses? A girl with them was taking photos.

Nope. lol XD
