Between Economics, General Bio, Enviromental Science, and Cog Sci, how would you guys rate its practicality (I dunno if thats right, should it be “practicalness”?) when getting out of high school, in areas such as for grad school, or for getting a job.

econ is pretty hot in the job market right now, i think. with general bio, you pretty much need a graduate degree to do anything. i dunno about e sci or cog sci. could be similar to bio.

What do you specifically mean by “practical” ?

You can go to med or dental school with bio… I would imagine Enviro to be a very difficult path. There are few jobs that I could think of in which enviro would be used, and the best one I could think of is the EPA, but you should never rely on working for the government…
