OP… One day your daughter will try and get an internship or research position. On her resume will be her GPA, courses, prior work done during college- research, internships, leadership roles, etc. She may also need letters of recommendation from professors who know her very well. Nobody will care whether she attends Villanova or Fairfield. They will care about what she actually DOES. My daughter has an internship right now at a very famous institution. Guess what? They chose a group of kids from all over… including Duke and similar schools … and…schools such as SUNY and Rutgers.
Stop focusing on school name. Start focusing on what the kids do once they arrive on campus. Sorry if I already said this in a prior post… I did not go back and check.
