A question about arrangements...

This is probably a rather ignorant question with a simple and straightforward answer, but my guidance counselor succeeded in confusing me more when I asked her about it.

If you’re, say, finishing your sophomore year and aren’t applying to colleges just yet, what do you do when the SAT Subject signup asks which colleges should receive your scores? My GC said to leave it blank, which I did, but then went off on some strange tangent and left me perplexed. Was this the right thing to do? Will I be able to submit the scores to colleges later, or will I have to pay for each report sent?

You did the right thing. You can send your score reports whenever you want to. Anyway, you don’t even know which colleges you could even get into yet so it would be stupid if you needed to send your score reports during sophomore year.
