<p>I’m planning to mention the my cross-disciplinary interest in my essay to CALS.
I UNDERSTAND that CAS will be more appropriate to be considered cross-disciplinary.
However, I’m more interest in hard science so I think I will be more comfortable in CALS
So is it proper to mention my cross-disciplinary interest in my essay to CALS?
BTW my major will be biological science which is a very general major.</p>
<p>And I got another one.
I noticed that in Biological science major, students will not take courses related to their concentrations until sophomore year.So just to make sure, is it like that students can explore their interests in freshman year and declare their concentrations before sophomore year?</p>
