So my English teacher has already submitted her recommendation two days ago on both SAO and Gateway. The application status on my SAO portal shows that the recommendation has been submitted, while on my Gateway portal the status is still “requested sent to”. I know it can take some time for Gateway to process information. But what confuses me is that, my math teacher is almost done with his recommendation on Gateway, but the status for his recommendation is “has started”.
Is it normal for Gateway to update the status a few days late? If so, how many days late?
I don’t really have too much time left since the deadline is approaching…oops…

In our son’s case, when the status of his English teacher recommendation showed as “request sent”, it meant Gateway sent out the request to her, but she has not started it yet.
While the one that we asked the Head of Prep to complete the counselor/principal form, it showed as “in progress”, and she sent us an email update that she was still working on it (at that time).
So I would guess that your English teacher probably only completed the one on SAO but has not started completing the form on Gateway yet. You can confirm with her again and in case that she couldn’t find the link to access the form, you can cancel the request and re-send the request one more time.
