A Question about SAT Scores

So UK a junior who took the SAT for the first time in January and got a 2290. The issue is that when I was registering for the test and it told me to choose colleges for my free score reports if I wanted to, I just went through and chose most of my reach schools without really thinking about it. Since I’m going to take the SAT one more time as well as at least two subject tests, this means that the colleges I’m hoping to get into will have received my 2290 SAT score once in January and then again in my complete score report when I apply next fall. Because this website has turned me into a paranoid weirdo, I’m worried that this may somehow adversely affect my chances of getting in. Is there a problem with colleges receiving the same SAT score from me twice?

It is very common for colleges to get scores twice or even more times from applicants because of College Board’s policy of sending all scores you have every time they are ordered sent unless you exercise score choice and prevent one or more from being sent. They don’t care how many times they receive the same score and it is not considered against you.

Cool. Thanks!

Why are you considering retaking the SAT with a 2290???
