Hi, I am a soon-to-be senior trying to take a deeper look into all of my considered schools.

I had a question about a possible dramatic difference in difficulty of classes among some of the schools I’ve chosen. For instance, say I went to a school like U of Michigan (Ann Arbor) or Georgetown U. Do you think I would have a much more difficult time keeping up with schoolwork if I took similar classes at a school like Washington U (st. Louis) or John Hopkins? The classes I am thinking of are pre-med courses.

I ask this because I want to be able to have time to be able to participate in other activities besides having my face in a book, ya know. If the classes are alot harder, I am afraid that i will not have time to do things like get work in the different science departments or get out and find opportunities in hospitals. I just want to be able to do more things that can sort of broaden my horizons and not just spend all my time trying to barely scrape by my classes.

I appreciate all your responses and opinion, thanks!
