More than often I see people saying that being an URM is a hook for a lot of admissions offices.
This is a simple question and maybe a silly one. Are Pacific Islanders, specifically Chamorran/Guamanian people, considered under represented minors?
Yes. Very few Pacific Islanders apply. As long as the Pacific Islander is a US citizen, it is a hook, and quite a big one.
URM = under-represented minority, not minors.
