<p>I’m 17, I am about to start by second year of JC. I currently have a 3.43 GPA. I am taking 7 classes (21 units) this semester.</p>
<p>I am doing IGETC, which many of you hopefully are familiar with. I am applying to UCB this fall. When I apply, I will most likely have a 3.73 GPA with a total of 45 transferable units.</p>
<p>The major I am applying for is Rhetoric, and one of my friends’ friend was accepted and attended UCB with a 3.1/3.2 GPA from a JC, and he was in the debate team in HS or JC, not sure.</p>
<p>As for me, I will be joining my JC’s debate team this semester.</p>
<p>So first of all, any rhet majors in here? Second, what are my chances?</p>
<p>I know the major is not very competitive, not even close to Econ or Haas, but little factors can sometimes plays big roles, and I am really determined to know and have those factors with me when I apply.</p>
