I’d like MIT to know my school ends >6 PM (and I have sunday school), which dramatically reduces my extra-curric opportunities. Also, all but 4 of those hours are devoted to jewish studies. I was thinking of including it in the extra informations field, but I want to write a personality essay there. Should I do both? Should I not send one of them at all?
Thanks

I think you can just send a short note or something so you can leave the extra info essay for something else. School ending after 6 is certainly not that common. Last year my math class was after school, so it was 4-6 . this year I have physics at CC on Mondays 6-8pm and Wednesdays 6-11 PM!!! it is really fun though, despite the crazy time. I am like the other way around. my ECs are keeping me FROM taking a lot of CC classes…grr stupid schedules ahhh responsibilities
I don’t think Sunday school is a good excuse, but that is a something you can list in your ECs, I think. I mean since a lot of people have some sort of class over the weekend , some have like 5… like a language school for home , then piano, then violin, sport, martial arts etc.

just my two cent.

You can absolutely include both in the extra information section.

i have to say “thats WOWWW”
people take classes outside of school time?
im in Canada
i only know one person who takes an extra course after school every wednsday but only until 5pm i think
US high school must be very different from Candian High School
because my school is closed around at 5:30
and the last period of the day ends at 3:20, the hallway is cleared after 5-10min so around 3:30
