<p>I absolutely adore both A and B (A & B are majors that don’t go hand-in-hand) but will most likely declare a major in A. Should I still go to a summer program that concentrates on B? Will it make me look as if I am spreading myself too thin? I also have the opportunity to go to a summer program that centers on major A But I prefer the first one (the program for B). I need CCers to give me some advice.</p>
<p>If I were in your place, I would choose the one that I most wanted to go to. Your college acceptance/rejection won’t be based on what program you attended during one summer of your life. So I would choose B (assuming that A isn’t significantly more prestigious- like choosing a summer camp over RSI/TASP).</p>
