A Rare Antique??

My mom, who treasures antiques, wants to see the value of one of her treasures. I don’t quite know how to go about this, so maybe someone on CC knows?

The item in question is a calligraphy work by Crown Princess Nashimoto Masako of Japan (the last Crown Princess of Korea… her Korean name was Yi Bang-Ja). She was first-cousin to Empress Nagako, the mother of current Emperor Akihito.

Does anyone know where to start?

Email John Fairman he deals in Asian Antiques and might be able to point you in right direction

Google antique road show.

Oops…

I thought you were calling me…

.

Well done, diggi! :)

Youm might also want to get in touch with a curator at a top museum in Korea…they might be able to give you an idea of what it might be worth.
