A review of Upenn after a visit

The green grass compliments the peaceful atmosphere. The blossoming flowers hint that new ideas are borne. The gentle wind shadows the noisy city. Life is pleased to find refuge in the tree trunks and under the fertile soil. The scene of love is common in every corner. The odor of prosperity and intellect remedies any oppression caused by hate or immorality. The voice of B. Franklin eco the hallways of every majestic structure. A walk through the wood feeds the sole. The thirsty mind finds ease in the museums that hale our sacred treasures.
Indeed it is a beautiful establishment but so are the men and women who are worthy enough to attend. Their smiles will carve an ever widening grin on your face. It is truly, and I dare state it, “heaven on earth”

Too much lol.
Though I did love the school as well. :)

And in the Spring the Irises are as purple as your prose.

The grass is as a vibrant green as the money to be generated by recently graduated Whartonites.

^ lol

@creacher
I’m glad you liked Penn. I want to visit soon.

“The voice of B. Franklin eco the hallways of every majestic structure.”

^ haha

The ironic part is that I don’t plan to apply to penn any time soon, so you know that the review is not from an obsessed person. But seriously it is a beautiful school and I felt an emotional connection with it. The staff is super friendly; they let me in to some restricted areas. Made me feel like a king! And I don’t even go there. The students are glad to talk to any one! In Princeton no one gave me any piece of mind.
I would apply to penn if I could but for any one comparing it to any other school just go to the campus and you will make your mind!
It is considerably better than all Ivy League schools, even better than my love; Cornell

Ahhh Cornell, during a visit years ago I was reminded of the stirring words of their alma mater…

“High above Cayuga’s waters, there’s a vile and awful smell.
Some say it’s Cayuga’s waters, we say it’s Cornell!”

If it’s heaven on earth, put on your wings and apply! I wish I shared your enthusiasm. I mean, I definitely like Penn, but not to the tune of, erm, what that was.

"The green-eyed monsters who emerge from Huntsman Hall descend upon the peaceful atmosphere. The wilting flowers hint that new ideas are borne [sic] while the groundskeeper sleeps. The gentle wind carries the sounds of sirens from the noisy city. Life is pleased to find refuge behind locked doors and under the fertile soil. The scene of love is common in every porno shop near campus. The odor of prosperity and stale urine wafts up from the SEPTA station by the library. The veritably stentorian cries of angry bums eco [sic] the hallways of every majestic structure. A walk through the sleeping homeless feeds the sole [sic]. The thirsty mind finds ease in the nearby liquor stores. Indeed it is a beautiful establishment, but so are the frat boys who are worthy enough to walk around shirtless clothing to boast their ghostly, beautiful paleness and flab. The criminals of West Philly will carve an ever widening wound in your side if you resist. It is truly, and I dare state it, “heaven on earth.”

Couldn’t resist…

^^^ LOL
i guess its because i am from africa that i was moved. but never the less it is the best campus in the us, too bad they dont offer the major i want!

What major is that? If you love it so much, you have to apply! Seriously, I would kill to go to a place about which I felt so enthusiastic.

Penn also is full of students that know how to avoid the grammatical errors in your report. Apply elsewhere.

This is just kind of creepy…

WordWorker, poetry is flawless.

^^^ true…

Woodworker, I enjoy poetry myself, and totally was hit the same way by the errors in the prose. [*not to worry, creacher, it was still good.]

Nice thoughts about Penn, however. I’m kind of fond of it myself and we visited many on the long college search road. Glad my son chose Penn. Seems like it was just yesterday. :)

Any advice? bump
