<p>Many institutions are not hiring faculty which has allowed Carleton to attract fabulous candidates. Carleton has recently hired 10 new faculty, some of them positions the college has been unable to fill in recent years. One position received hundreds of applications. Among the slots, Carleton has a tenure track Arabic professor and a full-time professor to teach Arabic half-time and Hebrew half-time.</p>
