A sophomore wants to be chanced? Pssht - Direct reject.

I’m a sophomore, and I’ve seen the whole college process through my older sibling. It’s stressful. I’m stressed already, and I’ve been since the end of middle school.

This is just a reminder to all you youngsters (me included) that we should keep on working steadily, work on those ECs and we’ll be fine.

For all you < juniors, chill.

And I do have a direct incentive for this post - all those “chance me” threads out there are incomplete until your junior year (this IS a generalization), and so CC can tell you if you’re in the right direction, but that’s it… unless it’s an ego-boost you’re after.

In which case, if you’re consulting CC already and you’re working like you should be, your college application will sparkle.

Eh, what do I know? I’m a sophomore. Any back up out there?

you will not get into harvard, princeton, yale, MIT, or any school you want to… sorry

jk

haha - very few people do, but as long as you have a realistic view of where you’re standing, you can walk the extra mile to these top tier schools. And the Ivys+MIT+Stanford are not the only phenomenal schools out there :)
