you’re rank isn’t too hot but im pretty sure you’ll get in, as its pretty easy to get into UMD

I’m not as positive…UMD does really like geographic diversity, but even for top instate students UMD is not longer a safety, but your chances are definitely good, i’d say its a match though

“you’re rank isn’t too hot but im pretty sure you’ll get in, as its pretty easy to get into UMD”…ah…no its not pretty easy to get into UMD…why would you think that? Close to 25,000 applied last year and around 11,000 got in. That is less than half. And UMD is a very large school.
Since SuFiYork is out of state that will make it tougher…not that he wont…but I would not consider it a safety.
I know a number of folks with good apps that did not get in.

…in!

unless you write a killer essay, you won’t get any of the special programs, and the fact that youre from the tri-state will hurt you (densest area of college applicants). but you probably should get in.
