A lot of summer programs look at transcripts… Is there ones that don’t that are worth going?

thats a good question that i would like an answer to as well so im gonna bump this *****

I’d be surprised to hear that any major programs don’t look at all. But a lot of specialized programs have their own method of selecting students. (For example, a math summer program will give you a math quiz to send in, which is a HUGE part of the admission process.)

Why are you concerned? There are many programs that do ask for your transcript, but they are looking to see that you attend classes and can stay afloat in a normal curriculum – so a 3.0 or a rising trend from a 2.5 to a 3.2 would be fine. They are also looking to verify your grade-level.

Unless you have a super-low GPA, like 2.0 or less, there are many programs that will accept you.
