Hi! If you attended or are attending public school, please take this survey to help me with a paper that I am writing for school. Thank you! https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BSK799P
Done
I had an issue with this question:
“Do you believe that public school is the highest quality from of education available to students?”
It seemed vague. For instance, a public school like Stuveysant offers a higher quality of education to students than that of my local Catholic high school. On the other hand, Exeter or Andover offer a higher quality of education to students than my own public high school. The same seems to go for colleges too (UC Berkeley versus Suffolk University and the fabled East Podunk versus Harvard, etc)
@preamble1776 Same here. I chose other, and said it depends on the school.
Yea. Where I’m from, an upper middle class suburb, the public schools are better than the private options with the possible exception of one school which costs nearly $40,000 a year. On the other hand, a kid in Compton will get a much better education at a decent private than a his local public.
