A technique that helped me a lot in SAT CR

in this thread:
<a href=“How I raised my SAT score by 790 points-My story - SAT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/1637676-how-i-raised-my-sat-score-by-790-points-my-story-p1.html</a>
the writer advises to underline the words or sentences the question refers to then start reading.
i did so, i go quickly through the headlines of the questions and find the word or sentence the question refers to and underline them. i don’t even read the question itself, just the part saying “in line X, the word XX means” then i underline it. While reading, when i come across an underlined sentence i go to its question and answer it.

This technique is POWERFUL, it increased the number of questions i got right by 12 questions.

I’m not sure if this is going to work with everyone, but at least it will work with some, u can give it a try :D.
