Ok, so for those of you who have already applied for housing, I have some questions. First of all, I applied, but now I’m stuck on the roommate option and I can’t seem to find any incoming freshmen on the roommate search. When will the incoming freshmen be in the database? Or, am I doing something wrong?

Next, and probably more importantly, my first three choices were Parkside (yea, I know… but I really want to live there) so that means I have to fill out the supplement form right? However, I have no idea where to find this supplement form… where can I find it and how do I submit it?

Thanks in advance for all your help… hope to see you next year… maybe you can live in Parkside with me!

When my S applied for housing last year as an incoming freshman, he had not selected any room mate, but completed the housing app & sent in the deposit by the deadline. He got a questionaire int he mail, which he completed (I believe accurately) & mailed it back to the housing office. They matched him with a very nice guy & the two of them have been very compatible. He got his 1st choice of the housing options he listed on his app form.
Most freshmen that don’t have a room mate that the specifically know & want to room with for their incoming freshman year are matched in this manner, I believe (that’s how his friends were matched with their room mates as well).
For his sophomore year, he’s selected folks he wants to live with next year & listed them on his housing app form, I believe.

In the “Living at USC” booklet, on page 14, it goes over the Parkside Supplemental Application. I think it’s only for International Residential College, SChalom floor, Muslim floor, Arts & Humanities Residential College, Art & Architecture floor, and Music floor only though. (Not sure)

but you would email your answers to ircadmissions@usc.edu/email and AHRCapps@usc.edu/email
