A Topic about Papa John's

<p>Would it be possible to write a college essay about some experiences i have had at Papa John’s? Taking into account that I am not that good of a creative writer.</p>

<p>The topic for the essay is:
Choose an issue of importance to you—the issue could be personal, school related, local, political, or international in scope—and write an essay in which you explain the significance of that issue to yourself, your family, your community, or your generation.</p>

<p>If i were to write about this, i would write about how as in-store employee at Papa John’s, i do about 90% of the work when it comes to a pizza getting into the customers hand. Despite this, in-stores get little to no gratification for all the hard work we put in and drivers get most of it. Also, we make considerably less than drivers. We prep the dough, dock the dough, slap the dough, sauce and put toppings on the pizza, and cut the pizza when it gets out of the oven. All a driver is excepted to do is wait for us to do all the work, then take the pizza to the customer, get compensated for the gas they use, and usually receive large tips.</p>

<p>Well, this sounds like a rant. If you don’t like working and getting screwed quit? I’m pretty sure this will come off to the Adcoms as being a “whiner” essay. As my parents always tell me when I b*tch about petty things like this “life isn’t fair, get over it”. Yup, blunt, but true.</p>
