A Tribute to Albus Dumbledore

As the last movie hits the theaters and receives critical acclaim, I’d like to “take my hat off” to one of my favorite characters in both the books and movies: Albus Dumbledore. As Hagrid says, “Great man, Dumbledore, great man.” :)

I especially love his little life lessons that Rowling so seamlessly inserted into the books.

do you feel that there are others just as amazing? :)

Forgot links aren’t allowed (sorry Chedva). For those who are interested, you can search “Life and Philosophy of Albus Dumbledore” with Google. It’s the post from Nerld Blog. :)

Come on, do you guys know great Dumbledore quotes? I’d really like to hear them…

“Nitwit, blubber, oddment, tweak!”
Agreed to everything you said - he’s such a moving character and active force of good that really pushes readers and viewers to reflect on their own lives.

I wish we can “like” posts on CC like Facebook…

I do too. One of the rare occasions where a Facebook feature would be loved on another site!

That was lovely. Harry Potter has been so influential on my personal development.

Although, I’m embarrassed to admit that I may have cried on my eleventh birthday when I didn’t receive a letter to Hogwarts.
