Hello!

So next year, as of right now I am a junior in high school, I would like to do Post Secondary at the University of Minnesota.

I currently live about 100 miles away, and would like to go to the U of M after my high school career- and attending the U of M as a PSEO student makes me 90% more likely to get into the college my freshmen year.

So I ask of you, kind and all-knowing College Confidential residents, what are my chances? If not for the PSEO program, for the college.

GPA: 3.5
ACT Score: 28
I’ve taken two AP classes- both writing intensive and very impressive looking on applications and have done multiple bouts of volunteer work.

My freshmen and Sophomore year, I’ll be honest, I didn’t apply myself nearly as hard as I could, but this year I kicked it into high-gear and had nearly a 3.9 for this quarter, and have been studying like a mad man trying to bring it up every ounce I can.
