A Unique Opportunity

I have recently become interested in the thought of transferring into a university that’ll allow me to enroll in their Master’s program and complete my undergrad at the same time. Is this possible for community college transfer students?

What universities have this opportunity and is it for the sciences?

Bump! C’mon people!

This forum is not a replacement for doing your own homework. Also, the vast majority of undergrads don’t do combined programs, so it’s not a ‘hot topic’. Finally, without a specific type of program (eg. BA/MPH), you’re just sending members on a fishing expedition.

Well thanks for the harsh response. It’s just like asking someone for their opinion between two universities. So next time you speak, try not to sound all manly on a new member. God…

Between what two universities? I’m not seeing that anywhere in your OP.

Please elaborate, is there a certain way that you think a female should speak?

Go back and read my post carefully. I was trying to make a point when you said to me that we’re not here to do your “homework”. Secondly, man or woman, they speak in the same tone when annoyed, and it is unnecessary to take the time to check what your gender is.

I don’t understand what it is with your attitude when I simply asked a QUESTION, just like every member here on the forums does. Would a college rep tell me, “I’m not here to do your homework.”? No, they’ll answer my question(s) with pleasure. So next time, don’t look at my posts any differently than anybody else’s posts.

Your original post is so vague. What sciences? Do you mean biology, geology, chem, etc.? What type of masters program/degree? What area of the country are you looking in?

If you don’t specify what information you are looking for, others cannot help you. It’s like going into a library and saying “do you have books with pictures in them?” A librarian would have to ask you questions to decipher what you are actually looking for.

I wasn’t trying to look into a specific science, I just wanted to know if there was such a thing for transfer students.

The two fields of science I’m looking at are Biology and Speech Hearing Science/Communication Disorders.

What area of the country?? Does that part even matter?

“What area of the country?? Does that part even matter?”

For many students it does.

Much as cost matters for many students.

Have you discussed your goals and interests with the Transfer Advisor at current community college? Often they are very savvy about these things.

You should contact the school and ask.

Allot of schools offer programs like this: 3+2 or 4 +1. So you do 3 or four years of undergrad which incorporate some grad classes, then move directly into the grad program. 4 + 2 is popular for the PT PhD.
Basically you are accepted in grad (conditionally) with your transfer. Normally the schools want a 3.5 or better.

I don’t know why the other posters gave you a hard time. It’s a good question.

I agree with entomom, it was a lazy question.

The rude attitude the OP displayed didn’t help either.
