A100 Exams

Is time to complete the exams a significant factor with Tiller’s tests? I know they are excruciatingly tough but do most students finish them within time limits? My son is allowed extra time for tests but refuses to request it unless he knows he will really need it.

My son took the midterm for A100 this fall. He says that you are allowed 2 hours to complete the test. He finished in under an hour. Unfortunately, he didn’t do very well, but that had nothing to do with the time limits of the test.

Good luck to your son!

Keep the following points in mind and you should get an A

1) Work each and every problem on the practice tests. Understand the solutions. The Exam is the same stuff with different numbers.

2) There is a review session before the exam. They solve previous exams in this, and I would highly recommend going to this session.

3) Read questions carefully. Look for the trick in the question. You have 2 hours, solve evry question twice.

Good Luck

My son found that about 20% of the test is “trick” questions. However, since Tiller hands out previous tests for study–these have similar “trick” questions in them.

Alpha_sniper is correct. The best way to do well is to study the previous tests thoroughly–understanding why a question was answered the way it was.

P.S. All the tests are multiple choice–no “fill in the blanks” or “short answer”
