So I just got a letter from my CC telling me my AA petition is denied becuase of some requirement I didn’t know existed.
I put ‘yes’ on the UC app question regarding “Will you receive an AA before you transfer” or whatnot, but I don’t see anything about it on my berkeley conditions of admission.
I don’t THINK it matters, right?

I doubt it. It’s definitely not a requirement before you transfer. I think it’s just to have on record what degree you have. Sometimes people already have their bachelors in something else…they may get a different priority, lower? I wouldn’t be worried.

Ya, I say dont worry about it… But if I were you, I would call them and just let them know to cover all my bases so nothing crappy happens last minute.

captaininnes> Definitely call you admissions counselor. Any change on your transcript can potentially cause you to be rejected. It’s probably not really a big deal… just call them to let them know that you’re not trying to hide anything from them. They really are quite forgiving (I know… I dealt with them before I came to Cal). *** If Evelyn is your advisor, she sounds tough but she’s really is a sweetheart.***
