Also Dreaming, I don’t know about WUSTL in particular, but a lot, perhaps most, schools take out non-core (like your gym) classes when factoring GPA so to WUSTL you might just have a 4.0

ya…im not really worried about my B in gym…its my sat scores…and extra stuff…even tho im in some extra curricular and such…im not really good at it…i never placed in state or get chance to go nationals…so and wash U is one of the really selective…someone suggest i should at least get 2200 before i apply…so wat do u guys think?

Never listen to those people that say you have to get a certain score before you should apply. You should apply no matter what if you like the school. WUSTL is selective but well below HYP. I think you have a good chance, even better with a great essay. WUSTL has a reputation for being a place for Ivy league rejects and not being as good as it markets itself. Therefore, I think the applicant pool is not as good as other places. You will be at least midpack. Don’t worry.

Yeah, I’m going with everyone else. Despite your having a lower than average SAT and being Asian you have a great chance. If you don’t have a great chance then neither do we. So, you are 100% innnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

WashU ED is easier, just like Cornell ED, with 1300s on old SAT= safety jacket.
but if you apply RD, you’ll get waitlisted with like 1500s or 2200s
