<p>Does anyone know anything about this area? Are there apartments and/or condos for rent? Is there anything to do? My son will be graduating with his degree in electrical engineering and he wants to work there. Just trying to determine the feasibility. Thanks</p>

<p>There are plenty of apartments and/or condos for rent in the area. There is plenty to do in the area also. Aberdeen has Cal Ripken Stadium, I don’t remember the name of the team. Plus, you are very close to Baltimore, not too far from Philadelphia. I don’t know a lot about the area, but I stay in Aberdeen about 3 weeks every September while I work at the nearby nuclear plant refueling outage. It seems to be a nice area, in football season you really need to be a Baltimore Ravens fan though. Hope that helps, hon’.</p>
<p>I lived in the area for a little while, a number of years ago. It is really quite near Baltimore. The recreational amenities of the Chesapeake Bay are not far away…and I seem to recall streams where people went kayaking.</p>
<p>Harford County Community College is nearby. There are events there. I remember attending a nice classical concert there that featured a Mozart horn concerto. :)</p>
