How long does the ABET accreditation process take? My D has been accepted into a school that is currently in the process of having their program certified and I’m wondering if it would be complete before she graduates in 4-5 years. It would be a factor if she attends this school or not.
The process takes 18 months according to the ABET website.

18 months after it becomes eligible for accreditation. One of the eligibility requirements is to have graduated at least one student.
