Able to raise LOW gpa?

<p>So I recently finished my first quarter as a freshman with a 2.71 gpa. Is it even possible to raise my gpa high enough by the time I apply for med school? :[</p>

<p>I got around the same GPA as you. I was so upset…how on earth did I get a C+ in geography with the curve!? It sucks really bad, but it was the first quarter and now I know my mistakes. I shouldn’t take an easy class so lightly. Next time, I will be sure to study hard for every class!</p>

<p>geography is a guaranteed A… i took that class and didnt even buy the book nor did i study for the tests or even show up to class… i went like 5 times max</p>
