about course enrollment

hello,
i will be an eap student this year and I wonder how many courses you take per semester usually. In my home college most people take 5 courses. I have added 4 upper level courses (3 of them major) so far. Do you think it would be too demanding or it would be OK with hardwork.

Website suggests to take 4 courses, but I am willing to add one more course in order to have fewer courses to take when I’m back at home college.

3-5 primary classes is usually the norm, depending on the difficulty of said classes. 4 classes, however, is probably the most common, and the most balanced.

You should usually judge the workload of a schedule by the # of units it is, not by the number of classes. ~14-16 units is probably average.
