I am very interested in the undergraduate program of Hass in UCB. I found that a lot of applicants were seen as not eligible when their files were reviewed. Why? what kind of courses should one take to be seen as eligible?

Since you’re not from CA, you should try to take courses that you feel to be the equivalent of those listed on assist.org. You might want to call UCB to ask how you can request confirmation that your courses will transfer correctly.

But it is incredibly difficult for out of state students to transfer to HAAS.
I remember reading one of them threads, that only 2 ppl managed to transfer from oos colleges

It’s hard enough for CAL students to get into Haas…Dude, just apply for Econ. Not even CAL students stand a chance to get into HAAS.

Look at assist.org for the mandatory prereqs to be taken prior to transferring to Haas your desired term. Students who do not plan on finishing the prereqs prior to their desired term of transfer are deemed ineligible and will not be reviewed for admissions.
