About how colleges see E.C.

<p>I have a question on how colleges look at E.c.
I’ve done marching band during my 9th and 10th grade year.
But I’m thinking of quitting it during my 11th grade year because of
the amount of work I’d have.
I’m going to do it during my 12th grade year though.</p>

<p>How do colleges look at that, where there is a gap. Do they view it negatively, or indifferently.</p>

<p>Somewhat indifferently, colleges of course like to see you sticking with something for all four years, but I doubt any adcom will count it against you.</p>
