About scholarship

I submitted my application on 12/9 but the application confirmation letter was sent on 12/14 so I am assuming that the USC received my application later than 12/11. Does that mean that I do not qualify for scholarships?

Also, I received a letter asking me to send a mid-year report–it just says that they have completed the preliminary review. Does that mean that I am on boarder line?

Generally, colleges go by when you send the application, not by when they recieve it. I sent my application in (online) on the 11th, and got the confirmation email immediately.

If you got the midyear report letter, it doesn’t mean you’re on the border. It probably just means that you didn’t get accepted in any of the first rounds, so you’ll hear back in April instead.

First question - It doesn’t matter when the confirmation letter was sent. You probably did not receive scholarships (Deans maybe though).

2nd - Probably. But it just means that you will get a response later in March/April.

considering the fact that you dont know how to distinguish between border and boarder…it looks like you wont be a boarder at usc…sorry i couldnt resist

/\ what do you mean?

haha… play on words: border = on the edge
boarder = someone who lives at the school
TrojansFightOn implied that since you don’t know the difference between the two, you are unlikely to “board” at the school… but s/he is just playing with you of course. :)

spark15-
You should get back at TrojansFightOn for not using apostrophes or capitals!

the lack of use of apostrophes or capitals is clearly purposeful as i personally dont care but the use of the wrong word unless its an abbreviation or contraction or some sorta short way of saying something such as gr8 or 2 instead of too is fine. This was jus pure lack of command of language. But it was also purely a joke. Fight ON

I was trying to be funny too
I guess my comedic act needs some help!
