You are reading too much into it. It simply means that USC will notify applicants by April 1st.</p>
<p>And in reality, reading the threads from last year, USC sends out the acceptances in waves, sometimes a few weeks before April 1. Sorry to add to the anxiety.</p>
<p>My guess is you will be considered for partial scholarships. You have to wait until you find out if you are accepted.</p>
