About sending docs

Hi
My school sends all of its transcript, recs and school reports electronically through a program called Naviance.
However, I wish to send colleges hardcopies of some awards I recieved in and out of school. My counselor tells me that colleges wont even bother looking at it.
So should I still send them?
Do colleges really ignore any hardcopies coming in??
I have A-Level results that I obtained by self-studying.
It was so much hard work but my counselor is telling me that i can’t send any hardcopies of my results. -.-
Can colleges check with the official A-Level testing agency about my scores??

Thanks in advance~

I don’t know what A level testing agencies are, but if they have some sort of transcript or record of your test scores you should have them send it to your colleges. Don’t send copies of awards though, the colleges don’t want those, they take your word for it that you won the awards you identified in your application.
