About That Deposit

PAID! :smiley: conveniently on 4/20, so i might always remember this day :]

Does 4/20 have a special meaning?

Hitler’s birthday…national weed day…

Umm, it’s Hitler’s birthday.

Oh well… I didn’t know that.

i was thinking national weed day. i just heard like 5 minutes ago that it’s also hitler’s birthday :|

Well, welcome to BU!

hahaha, yay, thank you : D

Yes! Where will you be dorming?

welll, it really depends. my cousin is deciding between BU & Stonehill [full-ride], & if she does end up choosing BU we will probs be rooming together :] in which case, we would have to discuss our options. but, of course, i would make a case for 1. the private bathrooms in hojo & 2. towers. i still need to look more in-depth in to the housing options, but i would absolutely love it if we were to room together :}

Remember to submit your housing asap. You can always edit when your friend decides, but get yours in since its first come first serve.

Welcome to BU! I’m an incoming freshy too.

If you decide to room at Hojo, catch me on the 7th floor.

while im glad your cousin might come to BU, i would recommend not rooming with her! i’m sure if you’re already that close with her, you’ll undoubtedly make time for her during the year. and you may not TRULY know how she acts when she gets up in the morning and gets ready or whatnot. meet new people and have the experience of someone random!

Although it’s true what Alectricity is saying, it’s not like there are always negative consequences. I roomed with my friend this year and we got along fine. I’m rooming with a different friend next year and I feel that’ll be alright (I already know she’s horribly unclean). Although if you room in Hojo you’ll most definitely end up in a triple.

Congratulations to the OP! We also paid the deposit for D last night.:)

haha, thanks, nickel.

the thing is…my cousin & i have lived in the same room together before, for a couple of weeks at a time, when we’re at our grandmother’s house. it’s funny, because we’re both kind of messy in regards to room-keeping, but she’s the more outgoing one & i’m a bit shy at first. so, ideally, this would potentially bring us closer together [she’s actually an international & hasn’t lived in nj since we were like 10, lol] & i feel that we could both benefit from each other [i’m more studious than she is, heh.]. i would also love to have someone to explore boston with : ] hopefully, it will work itself out, though. thanks for the advice, guys.

& thank you, momonthehill :]
